the left hand handlebar switch has broken off and a screw replaces this part, making it still operational. The headlamp rim has some chrome peeling and the speedo bezel has broken off in part. These faults are nothing serious, just normal wear and tear. All other aspects of the bike are in very good condition and the compression is excellent. The bike has been disguised, for want of a better word, to look like the Honda Dax - i.e. the left hand cover has been replaced with a Honda item and Honda badges were screwed onto the frame. I have taken these off to avoid confusion for the buyer. However the Honda badges will go with the bike if wanted. If this bike reaches reserve I will put a new MoT on it. Buyer collects. Re listed due to ebay removing it from their site. Apparently they do not like my honest description of the bike being a Honda copy. who wants to pop to the shops without struggling to find parking, those who have 4x4`s van can pick it up fold down the handle bars and take anywhere you like, those with caravans would find it very useful on the campsite or popping to the local village. Really I am very reluctant to sell it as I have just purchased a 4X4 and would fit it easy in the back but I don`t really have the use for it now and it would only sit and devalue over time. Really the monkey is looking for a new home and plenty of use. I have purchased a new set of forks for the bike including a Disc brake, the original set were a bad design so I brought the better oil filled versions which are much better. Little bit o erosion on the wheel rims but really significant and will not effect MOT. Seat is in perfect order no rips, the petrol tank has no scratches. All the chrome has been polished up as you can see from the pictures, a new battery was obtained late last year. All in all a very nice bike rides well with 3 gears disc brake on the front and a drum on the back, very well looked after I do have all the receipts for all the items I have brought for the bike from Monkey bike these include a new dipstick, Speedo cable, head light rim, 12V battery, Right hand switch gear, new chain adjusters, kick-start rubber and genuine monkey bike Weather proof cove X | £200.00   £400.00 | |||||||
