in 2005 so it is just 5 years old, however I`ve hardly ever used it and as such has is not even run in yet, having only been used for a total of 4 hours. When I bought it it was recommended that the oil be changed after 6 hours of use, this being the running in period. The quad bike is in near perfect condition as you would expect on a bike that`s only been used roughly four times. It is immaculately clean as can be seen in the photos and the tyres are in perfect condition. The plastic fairing has some very slight scuffs and I`m only saying this so the auction is very accurate, the scuffs are so light they cant even be seen in the photos!! I have all original documemation that originally came with it, including the original receipt and instruction manual. I have to be honest and say that the reason I`m selling it is to help fund my new caravan and as I don`t use this anymore thought that it could go towards my funds!! As explained as I`ve not used it for some time the battery had discharged so it has just been replaced with a brand new battery!! The quad has always been stored indoors. The quad bike also has electric or kickstart depending how you feel. It has an automatic gear box, headlights and brakelights and is chain driven.   | QUAD COBRA VENOM WITH YAMAHA 250 / 350 YPVS BANSHEE .Bought this as a project in bits it was fitted with a yamaha 350 YPVS that had seized a bigend and scrapped the crank and barrels. Picked up a 250 YPVS...>
engine and fitted that and rebuilt everthing on the chassis! Spent loads of hours on it replacing everything that was worn broken or knackered! Just been through a full MOT and taxed till end of Jan 2011. New lower & upper control arms. New uprated axle and new bearings in carrier as the original axle snapped! Swingarm braced and powdercoated. Swingarm bushes renewed with needle bearings and bushes. Front & rear shocks replaced with second hand Honda TRX400 items. New steering track rod ends. New brake pads front and rear (discs brakes front and rear). Unlinked the brakes to normal bike controls and fitted park brake for MOT. New Kenda road legal speedracer tyres front & rear (well expensive but road legal and like cut slicks!) Wheel spacers all round. Honda rear carrier modified to fit and powder coated. Complete set of off-road tyres and two spare rear wheels with off road tyres fitted as well! 250 YPVS engine stripped checked. Barrels ported and head skimmed. Inlet modified to accept 350 reed blocks. Guess about 45 hp which is well quick enough off road and fun enough for blasting down back lanes. Its currently running on pre-mix. Race pipes with alloy cans. Also got some stamped banshee cans for the MOT! Lights are fully working and fitted with battery and ypvs switchgear.
