IT IS VERY GREEN. This is a class-leader in the field of fuel efficiency and low CO2 emissions. Fuel consumption is quoted as “less than or equal to 3.1L per 100km”, and “90 mpg or above”. It takes unleaded petrol. IT HAS "CUSTOM" STYLING. It mimics the early American cruisers like the Harley-Davidson, its low-slung design affording comfort on long journeys. Broad, forward-located foot-boards, raised handlebars and a stepped seat make for a straight-backed, less hunched posture, reducing stresses on the higher vertebrae. A stereo radio and MP3 player facility and Shad top box complete the image. Yet that image is deceptive, for, mechanically, the CF Moto is a rev-and-go, belt-driven, automatic scooter. It is certainly no moped, however, either in looks or in the fact that its 10bhp power-rating and 244cc engine give it plenty of torque. It has a top speed (on the dial) of 90mph, and I`ve taken it close to 70mph. So what is it like to ride and will it pass muster as a cruiser?
