this for a friend with no internet access. No reserve auction. It was restored 3 years ago with no expense spared. (Restoration alone cost approx £1800, and thats without the cost of the bike.) The current owner has had this bike for over 30 years. And it has just 2 previous owners. It was sat at the back of his garage, unused for many years, so his son decided to get the bike restored for him for his birthday. But after a few rides, he has decided he is now getting to old to enjoy it properly, and it has only done approx 200 miles since restoration, and has not been out in the rain in 20 years!!! Bike has not been used since rebuild last month but have noticed occasionaly kick start slips so shall have new pinion gear prior to collection for winning bidder. I had thought I`d never sell it, but I`m emigrating, and it would be a shame for it to lose its original registration number and become an export to America. It is not concourse, has not been restored and has the usual oil leaks, but is reliable, starts easily, rides well and has good brakes. necessary. the gearbox has some new bearings and the engine had new rings. the head was skimmed and given new valves guides and springs by cleasby of durham. every thing you can see has been renewed. new tyres tubes tapes rims spokes brakes and bearings. two chains.clutch plates ,springs,rollers tension bolts and nuts left and right hand lock nuts. trouble getting pushrod for clutch so it has a temp rod in but it works. new fork seals and chrome covers new cables except clutch[ new one sent broke as soon as] speedo has new dial cable glass and rim in painted cover on new brkt with new nuts and light. new correct handlebars and clamps and chrome bolts, new grips and throttle . new levers and ammmeter and rubber seal round h/lamp and tail lamp . new badges and stickers, rebuilt carb[new jets etc jet body screw cap bell mouth. all new engine through bolts and new head and barrel nuts and washers. new rear lamp with stainless rim,stainless tax holder. rebuilt seat, proffessional upholstery. new ign light switch but unhappy with the quality.new fork top nuts and centre nut frame and tin ware were blasted and painted and baked some patina can be seen on tinware. rear shock bushes. timing case screws. new battery last easter. bike starts on emergency.and charges as well as normal.new oil filter/nut and inspestion caps. a new wirng h X

it. As there are already 5 Triumphs in the pipeline I now realise that I will never get round to the restoration of this bike, therefor I have decided to sell. The bike is in running order, but needs cosmetic work to get her fit for the summer. A new silencer and seats have been fitted, together with a new battery. The bike is 100% complete, so there should not be any parts to source. Everything on board works, and the Dynamo has been overhauled, and a new voltage regulator fitted,so the new battery is charging well according to the Ammeter. I have retained the old dual seat which is in reasonable condition,and the bike comes with the original BSA Manual and Handbook. The Engine and Frame numbers are correct and original for this bike.
