decision. Has never let me down, starts first time every time without fail, drives superbly and far from slow compaed to the normal 50cc mopeds. I have done just over 150 miles since last MOT, which to pass all it needed was; new rear tyre (obviously still brand new), and a rear shock absorber. My friend whom I brought the scooter off, obviously a typical man, didn`t treat it like I have, with feminine TLC, evident from scratches in pic`s, but nothing a set of decals wouldn`t hide. has a few scuffs and scratches but as you can see from the photo`s the scooter is in good condition for it`s age. All paintwork is original. Has new blue doppler handle grips. Fitted with RS Technigas race exhaust which cost £160. I still have the original exhaust and this is part of the auction. New engine oil and spark plug fitted. The clocks shown on the scooter are not the original ones. Will provide the original clocks, these were replaced by new ones costing £40 as the old ones had corroded. The new clocks have 6555 km on them (as you can see on the photo). The old clocks have 39652 km on them (converts to 24638 miles which is on the description). to ride it anymore.The bike has a few minor marks on the back stickers,which I have tried to picture these were caused just by getting on and off the bike,For a bike of its age it is in really good condition and has lots of added extra`s it also has a very low milage.Only 13,931 miles of which I have covered half..The tyres are both brand new and have done less than 20 miles. The bike has not been ridden since its M.O.T therefore before selling I replaced the battery for a new one and now it runs as smooth as it always did. At the last M.O.T the front brake pads where replaced so will be good for another 5000 miles at least.The bike has R&G crash bungs and front wheel spindle protector. There is also a scott oiler system, which lubricates the chain automatically improving the chain life and power.The alarm system is a Thatcham approved pro tec plus this in an alarm and immobiliser, I have 2 fobs for this.It has been modified and now has a double bubble screen but I have included the original in the sale.It also has a Aprilia seat cowl again the original seat will be included. its time to let someone else with more time and enthusiasm than me to ether repair or use for spares. I don`t think it would be much of a problem getting a mot once the starter spag is fixxed and it runs . It has a very good pair of predator stainless steel exhausts which are road legal but sound nice. There is a small scape on the left hand fairing otherwise in good condition for its age , the tyres are good too . The rear shocky and the chain and sprockets were replaced before i owned it and it hasn`t done many miles since. So there we have it a 1995 aprilia pegaso with 12000 miles on the clock that dos`nt go, so you will need a trailer to collect and i want cash on collection it is sold as seen with no warranty but i think its too good to break. The bike starts up first time everytime running gear is good as it goes through all the gears nice and smoothly. I have only had the bike for a couple of weeks as i bought it to get back on the road again but dont have the time for it. I bought this 9 months ago From an Aprilia dealer down in Huddersfield called scooter Crazy. The Bike is in Excellent running order just been service at Ian Duffs Aprilia Dealer in Falkirk and had a new battery and sprockets fitted by eclipse motorcycles in tranent. The bike has 13k on the clock but running like new. Taxed and Mot`d until the end of June with warrenty on parts till then also. The bike has new smaller indicators and fatter supermnoto tyres and renthal bars. Only down side is the back number plate plastic fell of last week but can be picked up on ebay for £10 and rust on the exhaust which is an every day thing on these bikes no wholes in exhaust! one years ago and absolutely loved it. Anyone who knows about Aprilia will tell you they are great bikes to ride and are great fun in the summer and is the sole reason i bought the bike. The previous owner was only 17 and had owned the bike for just over a year. His reason for sale was due to passing his car test and needed the money to pay for the fortune that is car insurance for young drivers. Within the year of ownership he had put alot of money into the bike to make it ride just right. It is a 10-11 year old bike now and still starts first time on the button! I was told by the previous owner that the engine was built by a company over in Humberside that build Race bikes although there are no receipts to prove. Other than the fact, that upon removal of the fairings, the engine was very clean and the bike is very fast i cannot prove it was rebuilt. I personally do feel it was rebuilt as i am a mechanic myself. his purposes well and was very reliable during all the time he used it. Is also surprisingly quick ( I believe it is unrestricted version from Europe that was imported by Alan Duffus Motorcycles in Kirkcaldy Fife and is original, has not been modified, to the best of my knowledge). Has always been a UK registered bike. Very cheap to run, insurance and road tax. We also have all the original supplier documents, keys, V5, previous MOT certs etc. Ask me any questions or if more pics required can email them to you. Good length tax and MOT left to run. Electric and kick start. Nippy as not factory restricted. Good underseat storage. Cool retro look. The bits that you need to know. Overall condition is good but he did drop it a couple of times, no broken plastics at all. There are some scuffs and scratches on the side panels due to this but as I say nothing is cracked ,split or broken. There is also one small tear at the seam on the seat. This has been taped and looks tidy. See pics. As it is originally imported, speedo is in primarily in kilometres but also has miles indicated so has never been a problem with MOT. frame down, fully resprayed body panels 5 times due to mishaps Ie spilling a WHOLE TANK OF FUEL OVER THE PANELS, DROPPING THEM ECT. and now the pannels are scratched and need redoing again but have brought more paint to do it so if u want can re-spray again before u pick it up.
