had the bike long, but in the time i have had it. It has had some needed tlc.I went to view the bike, and in my opinion it looked cosmetically, a little "rough" around the edges! And when i seen the quite high mileage, i thought it would be the same case there. I was wrong! It certainly has been looked after to a high standard engine wise. It has recently had a Top end rebuild, consisting of Piston, Piston Rings and Gasket kit. (Mitaka) I have the Old piston and rings just for piece of mind that this has been done. You are welcome to bring a compression tester if you wish! The clutch is still very strong and it starts on the button first time everytime. I was assured by the previous owner that it was always ran on the the best 2 stroke oil and always warmed up before use, I took his word for it, but just for piece of mind. I drained the tank and replaced it with Putoline TT 2 stroke. This is the very best oil for the aprilia and gives the high revving engine an easier life.The bike has been Fully D-Restricted and has a claimed BHP of 33The bike is no sloutch, and pulls very hard all the way through each gear, there is no flat spot around 6,000 revs and revs freely thoughout the range.Cosmetically, I was planning on restoring the bike to near perfect condition, but with me passing my test, this is obviously not an option no X

The bike has a full Ginnel race exhaust system fitted to it ,which is no loader than standard but does improve the performance. The bike also has a Meta system alarm immobiliser fitted and I have the certificate of installation which should help with your insurance. It has two keys and two key fobs, one of which needs a new battery. This is a nice little RS125 in good condition and would make a great first 125 for any one, and is still learner legal because it is not a full power deristrictted version.
