I have owned this bike for just over a year now and i am only selling it because i am running out of space in my garage (too many toy`s) and i dont get time to ride it much now. It has been well maintained and i have replaced/changed the following; New front fork seals and shock oil when i bought it as these were leaking, Re-jetted the carb`s to suit the TYGA race exhausts as this was not done when i bought it, Fitted new silicon seals to the exhaust`s slip joints as these where leaking when i bought it! Fitted new HEL braided front brake hoses, New chain and sprockets and changed gearbox oil and fitted new spark plug`s 8 months ago, Cleaned and checked power valves and cleaned and re-oiled air filter 6 months ago, Cleaned and checked the fuel filters and carb`s last month. The tyre`s are 18 months old and have hardly any wear, Michelin Pilot Power 2CT, and where replaced by the previous owner.The TYGA exhausts and the racing rearset`s where also fitted by the previous owner. 12 months MOT and TAX. The Bad Bit; As you can see from the photo`s the right hand side of the fairing has been scuffed by the previous owner so the fairing would need to be touched up/sprayed. Aprilia dealer. As well I put 2 new tyres. New back brake. The bike has crush bungs. Alarm and imobiliser category one. All installed at the dealer. The bike is still under waranty. The bike is in better condition than a new one, since all the little problems have turned up and been sorted. The bike is very versatile with 3 different engine settings. The info like trip meter, time, fuel consumption etc is easily controlled at the handlebars. So you can change it as you ride. The reason for selling is that I got a 1000 supersport bike. In comparison I even prefer the low down torque of the shiver. Who will buy this bike will have a lots of fun and yeah did I mention the amazing sound which was developped by the help of people from Alfa Romeo. The best standard sound you can get even in comparison to a standard supersport bike. Forget the new version of the Shiver which is in my opinion is not as nice as the original one and you will save quite a bit of money and have a better looking bike. The price I am asking is very competetive. I have looked for the bike the best I could. I love bikes. X

Speedfighter. Has 22k miles, but think that is Kilometres rather than miles. In the last month it has has 2 brand new Continental tyres, plus new chain and sprocket kit, full service including front brake pads. Runs very well, could do with a new battery at some stage, as sometimes does not always start on starter button, but push starts will no effort at all. Very good condition, some marks/scratches on fairing etc, but nothing major as it is all plastic etc. Plus it is 10 years old, so you would expect some marks. Any list of bikes for the last 20years will always list this iconic machine, it is a real beauty with stunning performance, read the tests. | The bike has been professionally serviced and will have a full 12 months MOT.
