brakes also the carb was leaking so after trying to fix it i have now given up the carb has no cracks in it but i do think it needs a new one recently had new front track rod ends and new battery both the kick and electric start works as it should. the quad was working fine but because there was a smell of petrol in the garage it had the carb taken off and has stood for a while the petrol was coming from the carb. the front tryes are low on tread but have lots of life left in them the rear tyres have a good amount of tread on them still i think this would be a perfect project for some one who has time on there hands and if a new carb was bought it would take minutes to put back on and get working veiwing is welcome please email me and we can arrange the details if you have any quiestions please just use the ask seller a question feature. the quad is sold as seen and i cannot deliver or post so its collection only no buy now price thanks for looking and good luck! to run and insure both. The quad is fully road legal with V5 papers, MOT is not needed till 2012 as it is 2009 reg. Recently taxed runs out Feb 28th 2011. The quad is very clean only done 2,750 miles. There are a few surface scuffs on the plastics but they are barely visible and can only be noticed if really looking. The hand brake does not work (just a case of a new nut where the cable joins the lever) but i have never needed it as it has a steering lock and does not move whilst this is on, everything else works as it should with no problems. NEVER been used off road. Road tyres put on when I bought it i dont have the knobblies. I bought the quad off my dad and he owned it since new so i no it has been well looked after. This is an automatic quad with reverse gear, digital display and a socket for phone charger, sat nav etc... and it does 60mph I bought the car without selling the quad first and if i didnt have to I wouldnt be selling it but cannot afford to keep both. Payment cash on collection or by paypal. Anyone who wants to come and view are more than welcome. Cannot be delivered needs to be collected by whoever buys it. X
