in pristine condition. It starts easily and all lights work. There are no indicators fitted.This isn`t a problem for the mot because of the age of the bike. The mot and tax ran out in february.It shouldn`t take much work to get through another mot. I have a full size numberplate for it for the mot. The oil pump is disconnected so you have to premix the oil in the tank. The air filter was modified before I had the bike and the filter is now under the seat. Remember this is a 70`s air cooled two stroke and is much noisier than modern bikes These in good condition sell for big money.So grab yourself a bargain. Viewing is recommended. Wiring re-sleeved. 7months TAX & MOT Brand new battery in the last 2weeks Leather pannier bags are included in the sale I have the original fenders (the rear still has all the lights and chrome brackets attached) pillion seat, additional riders saddle and old exhaust which can be purchased seperately if you wish. The only things I have not had time to address are the engine covers, which could do with some TLC or alternatively be replaced. (plenty of them on ebay) Since purchasing the bike, I must have only coverd approx 100miles. years and loved every minute! It was a Japanese import and was fitted with Ohlins rear shocks & Brembo front calipers as standard. It also has the more comfortable SP seat. Fitted with yellow braided brake hoses, oil cooler guard & fender extender.1995 & on a M reg, first registered in this country in 2002. I have the original headlight if required.The Ohlins rear shocks were fully reconditioned in May 2007 by DPS Racing LTD at a cost of £240,receipt to prove. New Varta battery fitted Feb last year with receipt to prove.I have most of the old MOT`s.MOT until 06/06/2011 & taxed until end of Feb 2011.Only bad points are that it will need a front tyre soon, the tank has suffered paint damage around filler that has been covered with a black decal (looks good & never bothered me!) Cam chain a bit rattly when cold but then arn`t they all? Just passed MOT with flying colours, NO TAX as I have not been using it recently, it is on a SORN, but last time was only £38.50 for 6 months/ £70 for 12 months therefore, trailer is advisable for pick up.I have had no problems insuring the trike before. a year and was my first motorcycle having passed my test early last year, I bought it to practice and become confident on.. The bike starts on the button every time and had NEVER let me down!There is little to no documented history with the bike, as was when I purchased it. The only history I have is the work I had done at Magnum Yamaha motorcycle`s in Kent. I had the bike serviced and looked over before getting on the road to ensure it was all ok. The mechanic told me it was a solid bike and had loads left in her!!The tyres are all good, chain and sprocket all fine and forks were reconditioned just before I purchased the bike by the previous guy at the same shop in Kent.. The history is all with them if you are inclined to check..The previous owner converted the bike from an S to a streetfighter style bike, he fitted new clocks, handle bars & headlamp.. To be honest I don`t know what the original looked like, I just liked to look of this one?!The paintwork is a little ruff around the edges as you can see from the pics but the bike is 18 years old!! The engine runs fine, the only thing that will need doing is the rear brake disc, not because its unsafe to ride just because the last MOT station put an advisory on it. to keep the Ace as my winter bike but sadly due to extortionate insurance costs for my R1 I can`t afford to keep both. As a result it is up for sale! :( For those of you who don`t know, the Thunderace is the predecessor to the R1 and as a result they share a lot of bits and features. It is an awesome bike with bags of power and plenty of low down torque. Makes a good solid reliable work-horse of a bike but with sporty looks and performance to match. Would make a good commuter or weekend toy!! :D I have rode this bike throughout the winter (since October 2009) and the only thing i`ve done is change the tank pad (the other one was hideous) and oil the chain! Even rode it on snow and was surprised by how well behaved it was. Quality Bridgestone tyres have plenty of miles left. Comes with a pillion grab rail (I removed this as the bike looks nicer without it but will put it back on for the winning bidder). New stainless steel downpipes (cost over £260) fitted by dealer in July 2008. Bike is datatagged and has Spyball alarm fitted. Bad bits...it`s an old bike and therefore has a few scuffs etc. The fairings have a couple of small cracks but all just small cosmetic issues. The can has scratches from a previous owner`s slow speed spill. I have done over 2000 miles on it and found it to be straight and true. Handles well and very pla X

I can`t get it to run because I don`t know how to do the wiring but my friend told me he saw it running when he bought it. It really only needs the front brake fixed to make a perfect, fun off-road bike and all the parts to the brake seem to be there but there is no pressure when you pull the lever. The back brake works and both tyres are fine for off-roading. Also there is no battery but I don`t think it matters with no electrics (but I could be wrong). My friend took off all the electrics as you can see on the photos but to the right bidder I`m sure this will be a nice bike. The V5 form is present. I`ve tried to be as honest as possible but I can`t guarantee anything works or doesn`t as I have not seen it running. Starting at 1p and ending Sunday at 5pm. Cash on collection only please.
