a little investigation i have found that if the Q plate bothers you, that if you can get a Harley Davidson Owners Club to verify the age of the bike,(not a problem at all, i am told for a little donation) the DVLA will issue an age related registration number rather than the Q registration. This a one off machine that`s fun & reliable. It started life as a French police bike in 1971, the rear axle is reliant robin, from a 1979 donor. This is a BMW 800cc boxer engine Trike, built by Andrew Critchley in Preston in 1997 where its was 1st registered as a Trike. I have all the build spec drawings and history, she`s professional built with all stainless steel fixings, originally powder coat painted, in beige n black, WW2 desert storm colours, I hand painted her on top in the now Iraq colours with a lighter beige, olive green n chocolate brown markings, sandstorm webbing camouflage, two years ago, last year a new BMW donor engine approx 40000 miles was put in, not done a lot since, but I renewed all rear brakes n pistons and front pads, could do with new front brake discs at moment easy to change over. Front fork seals replaced 6 months ago, recent mot n tax, insurance is only £135 per annum for me. So been a cheap hobby. I had every intention of stripping it down, cleaning and painting it, and then rebuilding it. Once id stripped it i loved the way it looked without its fairings, so i decided to streetfighter it. I got as far as removing a few more bits from the bike and chopping of the rear mount for the tail lamp/seat (which is include in the sale). The bike comes as seen, but all the parts to rebuild this to original standard (minus the right hand fairing) is included. This would also make a great base for a streetfighter style bike. As you can see from the pics, everything is there. The bike ran great before i stripped it, but it has been sat for around 5 months. I did start collecting parts for this bike but stopped when i realised i wouldnt finish it. I bought a 2003 (i think) CBR 600 under seat exhaust and i also bought a Suzuki rear light (unsure of model) which are both included. toasters and a teasmade! This is the KZ model which has the row of three small clocks on the tank and only a few of these were ever available in the UK. This particular bike is a Canadian import and was brought in 10 years ago. (no problems with insurance, parts or anything else) The bike is in good condition but it`s 31 years old and looking well for it`s age. It is fitted with a set of stainless steel replica exhausts. It has had new throttle cables, new rear brake caliper and the front calipers rebuilt with new seals and new pads all round. The master cylinder was replaced with a later GL1500 item that gives the brakes a lot more bite and the brake lines replaced with black coated braided stainless items, so it stops well now! The bike could use some new tyres as although there is tread on the them, they are cheap rubbish and well past their best. Other than that, it`s ready to ride and it rides very smoothly and pulls well all the way through the rev range. I`ve enjoyed riding this bike and will be sorry to see it go but we are moving house and so I need to get some money together so having to part with a few toys(see my other items) . X

This bike has no battery and I`m told as such cannot be fitted with road lights. It has no key or foot rests for a pillion. This is a single cylinder four stroke beast and kick start only. in 1979,this bike was imported from Japan in 2002 and is registered on an age related "T" plate. Passed its last MOT in 2006 but has been dry stored since then and is currently on SORN. She is totally original and unmolested. I bought her with a view to doing a cosmetic restoration to bring her back to pristine condition but life and work comittments have prevented me from doing so and its time to let her go to a good home. Mechanically she is in great condition with an absolute gem of a motor which starts first kick every time. The engine is sweet as a nut with no knocks or rattles whatsoever and it runs like a swiss watch - the same engine was fitted in Suzuki GT50`s made at the same time, and it is a 5 speed shift with clutch so very sophisticated for a monkeybike. The speedo Shows 8775km and by the way the motor runs and sounds I have no reason to doubt that kilometerage. Cosmetically, the chrome is good but the frame has some surface rust and would benefit from being vapour blasted and repainted/stove enamelled. It would be a simple and easy job to restore her to perfect condition, or just use and ride her as is. Petrol tank is steel and has no rust inside. She would make a great addition to anyone with a collection of monkeybikes, or make a great pit bike too, and due to her rarity she will only go up in value. X

it, and polishing it. The truth is, I dont ride it enough to justify keeping it, and a future house buy has kind of twisted my arm. The bike has covered 21352 miles, and looking back to when it was last MOT`ed in August last year, it had 21015 miles on the clock then ( I have had a fresh mot done for the sale as you can see, which expires 15/07/2011). Last year I put new tyres on it, which are just about run in, as I have probably only done about 500 miles on them. The front is a Bridgestone Battlax BT020, with the rear being a BT021. The shop didnt have the 021 in for the front at the time, so had to settle for the the 020, but both are like new as can be seen in the photo`s, and do everything they should do. It also had a new battery last year,and this too is still in good condition,starting the bike first time. The bike has the addition of a nose fairing, and what appear to be a set of Renthal handlebars, although they arent badged, so I couldnt swear to this. Both of these were already on when I bought the bike from the dealers. The bike is in excellent condition, save for a small crack on the side of the front mudguard, which wouldnt replicate in the photographs, which is why I havent put it on. And apart from the bars and fairing, it is a completley standard bike, which hasn`t been messed with. The engine is good an X

and starts on the button every time. I serviced the bike every 3 months which most importantly means new oil on a regular basis. The bike starts and runs sweet. It is simple to use and a dream to ride and I am only selling because I have bought a bigger bike having recently passed my test. | There is no significant damage but I want to be clear about the condition. There are a couple of superficial paint scuffs. There are a couple of small scratches where the bike rubbed against a whicker basket that was being moved around it in the garage. There is a rub to the rear above the brake light and a tiny blemish on the petrol tank. Everything can be seen in the photos. | It still looks extremely tidy! The engine is shiny and is kept clean, the chrome wheels and exhaust all shine up well as can be seen from the photos. | I have two keys and the paper work including my service notes in the service history book, log book (V5). The MOT and tax expire at the end of February 2011. | Honda CG 125 motorbikes have been the backbone for frugal, reliable commuting for 30 years. This is a fine example and a bomb proof bike with plenty of use in her. Road tax is minimal at around £15 per year, it does a whopping mpg and is only costing me £10 a month to insure.
