riden by over 40`s. I have to say its been very well looked after. I had it MOTed 2 weeks ago and taxed it last week. The bike runs spot on and has no rattles or knocks. The bearing are all as new, good chain and sprockets good tyres. These are a great bike and have plenty of power with the 41bhp and the light ally frame, total dry weight being 115kg. I have had KTMs for years before this and have to say these are easy as powerful if not having the edge also having the easy feel to them as do the KTMs. The only reason this is going is that I feel I am at the age were it takes to much out of me so sticking to the road for the rest of my bike days. This bike is perect like I have said with no bills waiting around the corner. It has been that well looked after I even replaced the front wheel due to a very slight dint and the wheel was replace with an Excel. Well what more can I say other than grab yourdelf a bargain as it starting at 2k with no reserve. Viewings are welcome but please call first Steve 07734550553. it had covered 42000 miles | There was one advice on the MOT that being slight play in top stock bearing, I have now adjusted it and no undue play is present. | I purchased the bike last year having owned the same model back in 1983 purchased new, as a comeback to riding after a lay off, of 10 years. | After riding the 25 miles to the testing station and back I find that the years have not been kind and the arthritis in my hands is not going to let me ride with any comfort in the near future, so I will put this on hold for a while. | In summery when I bought the bike it had been stood for 6 years the former owner stating it one a week or so and giving it the odd polish. | On arrival with me I removed and cleaned the carburettors, replaced the old fuel and fuel filter. | Freed off both front brake callipers, reinstated the anti dive, (the modulators had been removed and blanking plates fitted in their place) this is common on early GSX models as there is a misconception that it beefs up the damping, in addition to this modulators are no longer available even as nos parts the odd ones that are around are terribly expensive, I sourced two and reconditioned them. | The front fork spring were then replaced with Hagon progressive units together with top spacers and the fork oil replaced with a lighter SAE. | The front brake fluid th X | £785.00  | |||||||

use and has had a recent battery last year which is still starting the bike on the button. It ticks over fine when motor is warm. The motor itself is silky smooth and the whole bike is very comfortable to ride. I have seen some rubbish go for more than £700 on Ebay recently and I have it for sale for £750 ovno elsewhere. Thats less than a £ per cc!! for a decent bike. The pictures show it as it is and the paintwork in the pics is as good in real life. The paint on the swingarm could do with some attention but a can of black smoothrite should sort that out.The GS850 is now an appreciating classic as they are getting harder to find in this kind of condition without being converted to a trike chop or gone to the big scrapyard in the sky. They are great bikes to own and the engines are amazingly strong and long lived. This bike has had a rectifier regulator conversion which addressed one of the weak points 70s Suzukis had and charges very well.This model has electronic ignition for easy starting and maintenance. The front tyre has done less than 2000 miles and the back tyre still has a fair amount of tread left for the summer . few months after buying as I was then deployed overseas in October 2011, so as a result has been standing in my secure lock-up storage unit for 7 months with nothing but my BMW to keep it company. The ZX7R was brought back out of the storage unit when I returned in early May this year. Brand new battery fitted. New oil. Brakes, clutch and gears all work as they should. Great all round condition, mechanically sound and starts first time every time. The ZX7R was Datatagged back in 1998, and although I am not sure if it is still registered, I do have the original Membership Record and Change Of Ownership forms needed to re-activate it. Comes with original Service Record including several years of service history and Kawasaki ZX7R Motorcycle Owners Manaul, along with MOT`s dating back to 2001 and numerous other receipts. I bought this bike off of a friend in my local trials club in August 2011, and this is my first bike. I am now selling it to purchase a 250. My friend bought the bike new back in 2006 and it has been trialled in East Anglia only which is soft soil and woodland only, the bike has not been ridden on rocks. The bike is fitted with renthal fat handle bars, IRC rear tyre which is only 4 months old and a Mita front tyre which is 2 months old. I have replaced the clutch plates, suspension linkage bearings, both front and rear wheel bearings and the water pump and seal since owning the bike. The brake pads were also replaced just before i bought it, so about 9 months ago. She starts second or third kick every time from cold and when warm will start first kick every time with out fail. I do have lights for the bike which do work since i rewired them myself (i am an electrician by trade). Also i must note that i use plastic protectors on the forks, clucth case and frame to protect the bike.A couple of things i will point out are the exhaust has been reinforced with a patch because the rear wheel was rubbing on it (common issue on Gas Gas bike), the air box has been repaired by myself with two small brace plates and there is also a very small amount of clutch drag (also a common issue with Gas Gas bikes).
