November, 2010. I took this bike in part exchange and I have had a look at it and it does require a few small jobs; a front indicator lense, maybe a small repair to the headlight shroud, (see pics). Generally in good condition, I think it would benefit from being serviced. There is plenty of tread on the tyres and would make someone a smashing commuter bike. registration July 2009, This bike is in a fantastic condition and has only done 74 Km (50 miles), Which is the reason for selling.The only bad point is that there is some pitting on the chrome under seat and rear foot peg bracket due to it sitting in the garage , But it`s only noticeable if pointed out, But if desired these can be purchassed from some u.k dealers available online.The road tax expiring 30 June 2011, and no m.o.t needed till july 2012 .A new battery has just been fitted and everything else is standard. for the bike ran out at the same time so i thought i would just sell the bike.And pay for my test. I bought the bike last year with a seized piston which i had changed for a slightly bigger one so the bike has a bit more power than usual. As the bike is quite old when it is cold in the morning it can take 4 or 5 kicks to start it but it will always start As you can see in the photos there is some damage to the fairing and screen, unfortunatly another bike fell on top of it when i was at work when we had some strong winds.also the frame is slightly bent aswell. As the frame was slightly bent to fit the mirrors i had to put two new holes in the frame but this is not all that noticable. I know The clutch cable is slightly loose and the right foot grip will need changing before its mot. The tyres have loads of wear in them and wont need changing for a long time. America model seat with removable pillion. I changed the seat because I wanted to be able to take my wife on a decent pillion and the standard speedmaster doesnt have a proper seat, only a tapering pad. The Speedmaster is a nice bike to ride with better handling and ground clearance than the 3 different Harleys I tried before I chose this bike. Its good for relaxed cruising but is fun if pressing on and gives the feeling of riding quickly without going very fast. It is ecenomical returning 60mpg when cruising around and on a recent trip to north Wales with camping gear and my son on the back we still managed 50mpg. It has a good tank range regularly getting 175 miles before the light comes on and I have squeezed 200 miles on a tankful once. The bike is in good condition but not immaculate, I have used it occasionally in the rain and for the last six months it has lived under a cover because I dont currently have a garage. The bottom of the fork legs are beginning to show some corrosion. Poor for an eighteen month old bike but if you use them thats what happens I suppose. Also when I did have a garage I dropped something on the tank and scratched ( not dented) it. The scratch is on the top of the tank near the seat and is about an inch or so long. you can see it has had a bit of a tart up at some time but the frame, mudguards and the seat are all in very good condition with no rust or filler to be seen. The motor runs well and sounds fine. they are getting very rare these days. Its registered as a 125, so you can ride this beast straight off a CBT. Its fast awell, it keeps up with my mates R6 (for a little while anyway lol!) I know i`ve got at LEAST 80-85 outta it.Its got V5, everything matches and it also has 2 keys. Everything is standard, apart from a Malossi 25mm carb for even better performance. All electrics work, Lights, horn, warning lights, etc. There are a couple of little niggles with the bike. . Tax and MOT have run out. . The electric start dont work. Kick-start works fine. Starts 1st or 2nd kick every time. . May need new back tyre soon. . Needs new speedo cable, 10-15 pounds on Ebay . One small side panel is missing and a lil crack underneth left side footwell from where my dumb brother dropped it once, not too bad i`m sure it would buff out.No timewasters, i pointed out the little faults with the bike, so dont come down expecting a mint bike!If you got any questions, call or text on 07958086190. weathers all year and it has never let me down. it`s not perfect by any means but it`s serviced by me every 6 months so the engine is spot on and is great to ride. It has a long MOT and long tax so insure and ride away! This bike would be ideal for someone getting back into biking or as a good value for money first sports bike as it tends to forgive silly riding mistakes. It was green but i sprayed it black for a change but i prefer it to be honest. The bike has never been dropped to my knowledge and definately not whilst i have had it. A beowolf exhaust is on it and an undertray with led tail lights which looks cool but apart from that, it`s pretty standard. It`s 9 years old so don`t expect perfection but it is in very good condition for year and its a good honest bike. the wheels would benefit a respray and it needs a rear hugger but apart from that it`s fine. of history. Its had a brand new michelin pilot2 tire fitted to the front a couple of days ago and a brand new rear one last month. Also with the rear tire it had brand new rear brake pads. The bike sustained the following damage; front tyre is flat, right mirror is smashed, minor cosmetic scratch to front mudguard, rust and scratching to accelerator handle and it is tight to turn, bike was stored outside in the rain and so has minor rust to exhaust and kick start, chain is competely rusted, dent on fuel tank however this was there when I purchased the bike in October 2009, bike does now not start as battery is flat from being left standing.
