I did a tour of the UK last summer, and the bike did not miss a beat or let me down once. As you will see from the pictures I have added some carbon look rub pads to the tank, these were to protect the paintwork during the tour. These can be removed and pictures sent if they are a concern. The paintwork on Kwak`s is a bit thin sometimes, a little bit of rubbing did occur, but nothing to noticeable. There is also a small dent on the right hand side of the tank, the paint and lacquer are not broken, and it cannot be seen unless pointed out, the camera would not pick it up. I have ever ridden. Extremely fast, technologically advanced (as you would expect from BMW) and very reliable. I purchased it with only 3000 miles on the clock and now as you can see I have only taken it up to 12000 miles. I have had it serviced at BMW in Peterborough (it is due it`s next service ). The overall condition is excellent with only a couple of very small stone chip scuffs on the lower part/underside of the left hand fairing - other than that it is faultless. A BMW tank bag and extendable panniers come with the motorcycle and if you are new to riding or just coming back after a few years off I do have an all weather jacket and leather trousers to throw in also. think it`s man enough, i think it would be a bit cruel to the bike as it`s 27 years old now. nice riding position and plenty of torque coz of the large drive sprocket. it is belt driven (not chain) so, when it comes to replacing the final drive, all you have to change is the belt and not both drive sprockets. when i bought the bike it had just run out of tax. it is not sorned as i could not be arsed. i`ll find out the mileage soon as it`s at work at the mo. any questions, feel free to e-mail, cheers steve. It has been sprayed a dark purple/black colour by aultamara, a carbon road/race can which sounds fantastic, hugger and belly pan all colour coded, same with the seat cowl. MOT left on it but since the last one it has not done many miles - infact i think it is well under 100 since the last one. It has loud pipes on it ( you will not get much louder ) so the original exhaust will come with it as that will have to be put on for the next MOT. This is my wifes bike and she has decided to sell it due to health conditions, there is a very little surface rust on the exhaust which will come off with pratically no effort. The rear tyre is just about legal but it has done alot of motorway miles so as you can imagine it has lost its curved shape so i would say needs to be changed. This bike has plenty of pull on it and there is no difference in speed when my wife rides alone or weather the both of us go on it. It needs a little clean as it has been in the garage and dust has settled on it - it starts first time every time and is very much of a head turner, all the bags come with it including the tool role. i have fallen in love with it even though i am selling it because i have done my full licence and now have a 600cc bike. The valves have been checked and the piston was changed in March of last year (roughly 5 months use). You will see this is a very good example of a well looked after bike for its year. It does have a few extra bits on it: Hinson clutch cover Works Connection clutch lever and hot start assembly Vented mudgaurd New Renthal bars and grips Now the honest bits... The plastics are recent and have slight marks, but maybe just a set of graphics will really set the bike off. The tyres are both good, but the rear tyre will need changing due to a nobble missing. I can also arrange delivery of the bike, as long as it`s a reasonable distance...! Please note, when i say very good condition, i mean for a second-hand motocross bike of its year.
